Mondays & Wednesdays, 3:30pm-7pm
All teens (inside and outside of foster care) face unique challenges, navigating an increasingly complicated world while making the transition to adulthood.
We offer a safe and nonjudgmental space where teens can be themselves, discuss what matters to them and build community.
At Teen Talk, participants discuss everything from mental health, wellbeing and relationships to politics, religion/spirituality and social issues. Participants grow as individuals, learn from one another and develop meaningful connections.
Â
Saturdays, 10am-4:00pm (New classes offered EVERY Saturday)
SAME-DAY Temp Testing!
Our curriculum aligns with Ohio Department of Public Safety and Bureau of Motor Vehicles standards.
We combine classroom instruction with interactive exercises to provide a well-rounded educational experience, helping teens, aged 15yrs 6 months – 19yrs+, prepare to pass Ohio’s written driver’s test.
Participants develop a solid understanding of traffic laws, rules and regulations. We promote responsible decision making, emphasizing the importance of safe driving.
We help foster teens stay warm all winter long by providing free coats, hats, scarves and undergarments. We even provide hygiene products to ensure our teens feel comfortable and know they are cared for.
Community support (through monetary and in-kind donations) help us meet the needs of 100 foster teens (of all ages) each year.
As youth age out of foster care and head off to college, we help ease the transition by providing some of the essentials they will need to be comfortable in their dorms.
At our annual housewarming event, they receive all manner of small appliances, cleaning supplies, bedding, towels and other items to furnish and stock their new spaces.
